Write for us

Rising Stadium Review welcomes pitches that uncover the meanings, customs and stories around sport without relying on match previews or score recaps. Send proposals through the Contact page.

What we welcome

We are interested in focused features about fan customs, sporting language, collective memory, belonging and sport’s place in culture. A pitch should make clear why the subject matters beyond one result or one news cycle, and what a reader will understand by the end.

A useful pitch

Tell us the central question, the angle you would take, the kind of sources or material the piece would draw on, and why you are suited to explore it. Keep the proposal specific enough to distinguish it from a general topic suggestion. Do not send confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.

How to send it

Submit your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete article unless it has been requested.
